Experience:
We prefer that applicants have at least 3 years of extensive operating experience in the excavating field, preferably before applying to this position.
A general knowledge of safety would also be appreciated.
Computer/Technology Skills:
A smartphone is required to use the company app for tracking hours, etc.
Active:
While you will mainly be operating equipment, there will be times that you will also be assisting with other tasks.
At times, this position requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
& exerting up to 100 lbs.
, lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, & repetitive motion.
Team Player:
Ability to get along and work efficiently with a team of 2 or more workers.
Owns up to mistakes, pulls their own weight, & is friendly.
Reliable & Trustworthy:
Work hours are 7 am to 5/5:
30 pm, about 50 hours per week.
Must be willing to put in overtime.
Saturdays are optional but highly preferred.
Motivated:
While your experience is important for this position, it is not as important as your attitude.
We prefer an applicant who is friendly and a good team player.
Safety Clothing:
Steel tip boots & work pants are needed.
Travel:
90% of job sites are within a 30-mile radius.
Per diem pay applies for jobs over 30 miles from the shop.
(Mileage starts after 30 miles) What we offer our Operators:
